Nudity on the Outside

Why is Nudity deemed acceptable within the Art community but tremendously criticised outside of art and into normal civilisation. One of the main factors to slightly allowing Nudity to be acceptable in public eye. Nudity can only be regarded as acceptable through the important matter of ‘context matters’. For example look at two similar but separate cases. A Naked model taking part in a life drawing class inside a controlled environment, closed off from the public eye, this is classified as an acceptable form of nudity to take place in society where no one would question the objectivity of the nude figure. However if we were to take the Naked model outside into the public eye and place them in a busy town centre, a lot of negative discussion and disgust would be hurdled towards the model. Most certainly guaranteed that some form of law would intervene to remove or charge the model with public obscenity.
